Mangalore, Apr 23: The Dakshina Kannada Working Journalists’ Association bid a farewell to two senior journalists on Saturday, April 22. Suresh Belagaje and Konka Prakasham of Prajavani were bid adieu on their transfer to Koppal and Bangalore respectively.
Senior journalist Chidambaram Baikampady introduced the journalists and recalled their contribution to the field of journalism in the region.
In his address, Prakasham, pleased with the honour thanked the association for its gesture. Belagaje who said that the transfer to Koppal was inevitable adding that the life of journalists is dotted with challenges and he would like to take this challenge too.
Association president B Ravindra Shetty was also present on the occasion.
