Kasargod: Two arrested for sending provocative messages on Whatsapp

Kasargod, Dec 10: Vidyanagar police on Tuesday December 9 arrested two persons for posting provocative messages on Whatsapp mobile application.

The arrested are identified as Chengala resident P M Usman (25) and Chalangod resident Mohammed Sirajuddin (18).

The arrested are said to have sent anti-national messages on Whatsapp mobile messenger. Their messages referred to pelting stones at buses, terrorist activities etc, sources said.

Usman was earlier taken into custody in connection to throwing stones at buses.  When he was questioned and his mobile phone checked, information about him asking others to create trouble was found.  It is said that the group on Whatsapp consists of about thirty people.
