Mangalore: Kadri fire brigade inspector dies of cardiac arrest on duty

Mangalore, Dec 12: Mangalore Kadri fire brigade station inspector K Nagesh (58) passed away due to cardiac arrest while on duty on Tuesday December 10.

He was a resident of Kumpala by origin. He had joined Karnataka fire and emergency services department in Udupi and got promoted as chief fireman and assistant station inspector in Mangalore, Kundapur, Karkal, Sullia, Naragunda and Kadri fire stations. 

He has served the department for the last 33 years.

Fire brigade officials in Udupi, Madikeri, Moodigere, Chickmagalur, Mysore and other officials and prominent people offered their last respects to the departed soul.

He leaves behind his wife, a son and a daughter.

    Really sad, a man who has served the state without bothering about his health and family is no more and all of us have forgotten that poor soul.govt does nothing to their employees and you will see all these ro0gue politicians shedding crocodile tears for few hours for his future vote bank.why not govt sending their staff for annual medical so they can fit and serve the nation.
