Mangalore, Dec 12: Buoyed by their party's remarkable performance in the recent Delhi Assembly elections, the members of district unit of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Thursday December 12 held a  victory procession from Dr Ambedkar circle Mahatma Gandhi Park in front of the Town Hall.

The jubilant members shouted slogans and held torches and lighted candles on the occasion.

Addressing the gathering, Aam Admi Party convener Robert Rosario said, "Wherever Arvind Kejriwal went to seek votes, people welcomed him enthusiastically with garlands. Those who could not offer garlands showered flower petals from their terraces. People are expecting good, quality and ethical politics in this nation. Hence we have the responsibility of strengthening this party in the coastal belt. We must choose Aam Admi Party member as the MP of this district."

District advisory committee member S Nandagopal said, "Sheila Dikshith governed Delhi for 15 years with an egoistic attitude and termed Aam Aadmi Party as a non-entity incapable of competing against Congress. But for the first time in the Indian political history, the Aam Admi Party as a newcomer secured 28 seats against all odds. Today, the party's  flag is flying high in the national capital.

"This is a victory of the common man. People who were laughing at us have now started to respect us. Political parties like BJP and Congress have started to shiver. Let us be active and work towards strengthening our party," he told the party workers.

AAP party members Ajay Kumar, Sulochana, Vinod Rao, Sathish Rao, Roshan Ullal, Dharmendra, Sachitha Nandagopal and others were present.

I fully endorse Mr. Jossie Mascarenhas' view.

Let us be very clear that both Congress and BJP are now hell bent to demolish AAP. This is the reason for their "unconditional" support to AAP. Aravind's approach is 100% correct because Congress will never allow to take any harsh decisions in the Assembly if thier support is taken. All the best AAP and AK.

Some people asking why AAP let down public by not accepting unconditional support from Congress. Can any party give in writing (and honour it later) that they will allow to pass a resolution in which their members, workers are implicated or be punished by law? Can they allow Sheila aunty or anybody in their govt. to be prosecuted for any possible wrongdoing ? If the answer is yes, then they are NOT asli congressmen or asli BJPvalas haha. This is the reality. Congress is giving support only to put down AAP or to keep away BJP and it is a bait. And of course, no question of asking or giving support to BJP. They are totally corrupt and communal. So, what AAP has done is 100% is right. Either they get a full majority to rule or get written commitment for their agenda or sit in opposition and see that others do it the right way.

We already know how corrupt are both the existing parties. Lets give AAP a chance to try it out. They will not get a majority, I know. But even if there are a few of them in the Parliament or Assembly it is going to make a big difference while passing all useless bills which are intended to give the elected reps a free hand to loot and still go scot-free. It will be like a big stumbling block for these stupid Chors, MC’s, BC’s (hope u know what I mean ??!! – samajnewale ko ishara khafi hai).

As for what they have done in Delhi is totally right. There is no use in forming a govt. and give the other 2 corrupt people just to make noise that AAP has failed in their promises. And that is exactly what they want. If AAP has got the majority I am sure it is not at all difficult to fulfill the promises. Why the electricity bills are high is because big corporations give money to politicians who in turn give them full freedom to raise electricity rates without any justifications. This has to stop. This is true in all other commodities too. Just listen to a few pre-election speeches from Arvind, Kumar Vishwas etc on YouTube and we will understand.

And regarding the collection of funds for elections as long as it is shown to the public how much money have collected and from what sources and how much they have spent it is fine with us. And even if there is a little bit of errors and differences, forget it. Don’t worry, when you get down to clean the kichad you are likely to be dirtied by it – in which case we have got full right to question them and ask for an explanation. And this should not spoil the general image of AAP.

“When we know our lives are going to be more difficult by voting the existing 2 MCs and Chors, there is nothing we are going to lose by voting the unknown – corrupt or not. There is always another day, another election. We have waited more than 60 years, we can wait more”

Christians and muslims are strengthening there presence in AAP..as no choice left after debacle of congress in four states..!!
if AAP won't form the government in delhi..this time with the help of congress...than in re-election AAP will collapse completely.
people from delhi needs BJP in centre as well as in state to give good governance.
objective is to keep anti-nationls/terrorists on bay..which is raise during congress rule..
if delhites vote for AAP...same will recur once again what's happened with congress earlier..
so no need to miss the opportunity..as we now have a strong leader like shri modiji..who will take the country to new sphere...
even though congress giving support to AAP..is hesitate to form the government due to over promises given to delhi people..which they won't able to fulfill..
AAP only good up to revolt..not good to governance...because two wolves are much experienced in this field..and not allow it to do so...
AAP is the brain behind of sangh parivar and will merge with BJP after 2014 election as like sant bindarwale of congress to tackle akali dal in punjab..Jai Ho..

Whether AAP will be good for governance or not will have to be seen!
It is time for taking risks!
In the next election, Lost votes of Congress will go to AAP.
Some BJP and other parties' votes also will also go to AAP. People keep hope in clean and challenging new parties!
By winning sizable seats in next Lok Sabha elections, surely AAP will play effective role of opposition!
BJP and Congress may compromise on certain issues, because of their weakness, but AAP will not compromise on any for they are clean that is the plus point!

Congratulations for AAP Mangalore unit. The founder of AAP Mr Arvind Kejriwal is a man of principle which people of Delhi have judged and elected his party. The middle class and low class people of our country are very much perturbed by the present corrupt and unlawful administration nook and corner of our county. Our education system, religion, employment food & health care, law and order system is totally corrupt/commercialized. There is no judicial system is active in the country. For eg. The very next day of the Delhi elections the Onion prices have come down Rs100 to Rs.25/-??? this type of administration we have faced since last 5 decades. For the survival of poor and common man of this country change is a must. Nothing is impossible, everything is possible with firm determination. We should unitedly overcome this type of situation only by supporting AAP because they are firm on their JANLOKHPAL BILL which brings good impact for the survival of common man. Long live AAP!!!

I was a big supporter of this party. But when i see the developments in delhi i am really confused about their real agenda. They are acting like those dogs who run behind car and when the car is stopped, they just run away. They are using this win to raise more funds instead of doing some quick reforms (at least some) to gain the voters trust who voted for them and people who donated crores of fund in hope of some change. And what these people are doing? Asking for more money. Hume aur paise do hume 2014 election me jithao aur hum india ko sudharenge.

I ve seen one comment in other news website which said "how much more money you want from us to complete the promises you made. Your sincere donor" As far as I see they are not going to get the full majority in the 2014 election as well because of the modi wave. Are they going to? Ask for reelection? Waste tax money, collect more funds? This adamant state of mind is not going to work, and the same voters may not vote again for you. Voters loyalty never lasts long.

Why do you blame AAP for reElection in Delhi? If Delhi hasn't given a clean mandate , and if the party doesn't want to tie up with any other party why do you blame them?
why you cannot blame the BJP which is a highest voted party in Delhi.

You talk of tax payer money wasting for a reelection. Why dont you talk of millions of tax payers money going on corruption?

With your comment about Modi wave, doesn't look like you were ever a big supporter of AAP. Even if you were i feel sorry for you for being judgmental about your own party in less than a week's time.

Aam Admi Party (AAP) is a game changer in 2014 Lok Sabha Elections.
They have upset calculations of political Pundits and giant national parties like Congress and BJP.
Arvind Kejriwal has come in like David to topple Goliath.
People got a credible alternative to contain corrupt Congress and communal BJP.
After a spectacular performance in Delhi Assembly elections, AAP confidently plunged into Lok Sabha elections, is capable of winning 100 plus seats, capable of shaking national politics to bring desired change!
Of-course, AAP is not tested, but this is the time to take risks.
Let's hope for the best and wish all the best to AAP.
