Bangalore, Apr 29: The exercise of State Cabinet expansion will take place after May 10.
It is almost certain that JD(S) State President M.P. Prakash and H.D. Deve Gowda's son H.D. Revanna would be inducted into to the Cabinet.
JD(S) sources say that while giving a green signal for expansion, former Prime Minister Deve Gowda had clear-cut instructions to State JD(S) leaders not to undertake the exercise till the Assembly election in Tamil Nadu State Assembly are over as a JD(S) candidate was contesting against a sitting BJP MLA.
It is learnt, Deve Gowda has considered the winning of JD(S) candidate in TN as a matter of prestige. It is said, Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy was willing to expand his Cabinet by May 4.
