Mangalore, Apr 30: May 1 is Labour Day and keeping up the tradition Yuvashakti Kendriya Samiti will hold Karmikotsav 06 at Town Hall.
The convention of labourers will be attended by workers of different branches of Yuvashakti and representatives from various labour organizations.
District in-charge minister Nagaraj Shetty, MLAs N Yogish Bhat, J Krishna Palemar and K Abhayachandra Jain will be present.
Central labour assistant commissioner Srinivas will participate in the programme on Labour Acts.
Yuvashakti has been organizing the Karmikotsav for the past seven years. The celebration will also include various sports and cultural events.
