Mangalore, Apr 30: It was last year that Devika was reported missing and was later realized that she had eloped with Farook. Her parents filed a habeas corpus and thus the young couple was brought to court and the high school girl was returned to her parents.
On Saturday, April 29, Devika was reported missing again. It is unclear whether she had eloped again or has been kidnapped by Farook.
On Saturday, Devika was alone in her house situated near New Chitra Theatre, Car Street, when Farook a resident of Nalapad Apartments here came in a rickshaw and took Devika along.
Devika’s parents have registered a complaint at the Bunder police station accusing Farook of kidnapping Devika.
