Mangalore, Apr 30: The VIII branch of Stock Exchange of India was inaugurated at the Stock Exchange office of Kodialbail on Saturday, April 29. The office will be helpful to provide service to the investors in and around Mangalore.
Branch managing director V Shankar said that the organization has branches at New Delhi, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Coimbatore and Nagpur. Offices will be opened at Guwahati soon.
A total of 870 personnel work in 85 cities of 22 states for the investors in the firm, he added.
Electronic distributing network for marketing Initial Public Offering (IPO) and Mutual Funds, Common Trading Platform will be started from 2006-07.
Kanara Chamber of Commerce and Industry president A Srinivas Rao inaugurated the branch.
