South Africa 38/0, trail by 420 at tea

Johannesburg, Dec 21 (IANS): South Africa were 38 for no loss and trailed India by 420 runs at tea on day four of the first Test at the New Wanderers Stadium here Saturday.

Alviro Petersen (28) and Graeme Smith (9) were the two batsmen at the crease.

Earlier in the session, India were bowled out for 421, setting South Africa a 458-run target.
