Mangalore, May 1: The Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy has decided to publish two books during the present year with a view to encourage Konkani writers.
The two works will be compilations of the well-appreciated stories as well as poems of the last century.
The academy has invited applications from interested persons to participate in the project with details of address, education qualification, age and experience in the field.
The applications should reach the registrar, Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy, MCC building, Lalbagh, Mangalore -575003 before May 15.
The applicants should have the knowledge of speaking and writing in Konkani
