Mangalore, May 2: A fest of a different kind awaits fish connoisseurs on Sunday, May 7.

The Pilikula lake, which otherwise attracts visitors to paddle-boating or plain viewing, will have fish-eaters looking for a variety of catch from the vast water-body.

A Pilikula Nisargadhama press release says that fish will be caught from lake that day and would be sold on the spot from 9 am that day.

While a large number of interested persons as also a big crowd of curious viewers are expected to gather, it might keep away a lot of non-fish-consuming visitors that day, said a regular Pilikula visitor, who is a vegetarian. In a lighter vein, he added that many would still visit, being forced to hold their noses tight.
