Mangalore, May 2: 'Karmikotsav 06' was celebrated by Yuvashakti Kendriya Samiti and District Legal Service Authority on May 1 at Town Hall. The annual programme on Labourers Day was inaugurated by district and sessions judge G V Hegde.
Speaking on the occasion he said that enhancing organizing capacity and utilizing the benefits of law, employees can create better working conditions for themselves. Unity plays a vital role in ensuring labourers rights and thus workers should stand united. Exploitation of the working class is because this section of the population is unorganized, said Hegde.
MLAs N Yogish Bhat and J Krishna Palemar, Yuvashakti Kendriya Samiti president P P Hegde were present on the dais.
