Mangalore, May 2: Beltangady Circle Inspector (CI) Y Gangi Reddy has been appointed in-charge inspector of Kadri police station here.

The inspector's post at Kadri police station was vacant ever since the then inspector Basheer Ahmed was suspended after he was found guilty for assaulting his subject.  Later on DCIB inspector Tilakchandra was appointed in-charge inspector of the Kadri police station.

However, inspector Tilakchandra has gone on leave for 12 days now.  So inspector Y Gangi Reddy has been appointed in his place.
