Mangalore, May 2: Eminent film maker Girish Kasaravally visited the ongoing summer courses at Sandesha here on Friday April 28.  He also interacted with the students of summer courses.


The summer courses for the year 2006 were inaugurated on April 18 by incoming director of Sandesha Fr Francis Lewis.  Noted artiste B Dayanand of Daya Art School and Sangeetha Balachandra, a well-known classical and sugama sangeeta singer from Manipal were the chief guests on the occasion and gave a demo of their proven skills on the occasion.



About 180 students from all over Karnataka, Bihar and Kerala are attending the courses in Bharatnatyam, Carnatic Vocal, Drawing and Painting, Keyboard and Guitar.

The present courses will go on till May 13.  The valedictory of the courses will be held on May 13 on Sandesha Lawns.  The day will also feature the performances by the students attending the summer courses.
