Udupi, May 3: The District Crime Intelligence Bureau has arrested Ramesh Kamath wanted by the Manipal police in an assault case which took place in 1991.

Kamath was absconding for the last 15 years. DCIB assistant sub-inspector N Ramkrishna, Purushotham Nayak and Prakash acting on a tip-off arrested Kamath in Shimoga. He has now been handed over to Manipal police.
