Mangalore, May 3: Akhil Bharat Konkani Parishat president Paul Moras was on Sunday April 30 honoured by "Amgele Balag" for his yeoman's service to Konkani language and culture.
Deputy Commissioner Dr H V Parshwanath who presided over the function honoured Paul Moras with a shawl, citation and memento. Canara Bank DGM T D Pai and film actor and theatre personality Kasargod Chinna were the chief guests of the function.
Ganesh Shenoy who had won the "Mr India - Best Poser and Best Muscular Man" award during the all India level body building championship recently was felicitated on the occasion by T D Pai.
Vithobha Bhandarkar welcomed the gathering and Ramesh Pai proposed vote of thanks. Raghvendra Rao and Usha Rai compered the programme.
