Bangalore, May 5: Valerian Fernandes was unanimously re-elected FKCAK Chairman. The election was held during the annual general meeting which was held here at St. Joseph' Indian High School, Bangalore on the 30th of April 2006. Representatives from all the 12 member associations were present.  Charles Gomes and Antony Gonsalves were re-elected as  Gen.Secretary and Treasurer respectively.   Other elected members are as follows;

Vice Chairman 1 - Albina Vaz
Vice Chairman 2 - Sylvester D'souza
Joint Secretary 1 - Judith D'cunha
Joint Secretary 2 - Gracian Rodrigues
Legal Advisers     - Jerome D'souza and B V Pinto
Cultural Secretary -  Nerry D'silva
Spiritual Director - Fr Melwyn Pinto.

The Federation came into existence in the year 1998, founded by Henry Pinto. Main objective of the Federation is to unite all the Konkani  Christians, create political awareness. Because of its efforts, today most of the political parties in the city are recogising the presence of the Federation.
