Kundapur, May 6: A huge whale became the talk of the town here in Kundapur.
On Friday, May 5, a huge dead whale reached the sea shore at Bejadi near Koteshwar. The dead warm blooded aquatic mammal was dragged to the shore by the local fishermen.
The whale which is said to have died few days back was half rotten.
Hundreds of residents of the neighbouring areas flocked to take a glimpse of the whale which is the only mammal that has adapted to life in the open oceans.
The carcass was later buried.
