Bangalore: Decks cleared for Yeddyurappa's return to BJP

Bangalore, Jan 2 (PTI): Decks were today cleared for the merger of B S Yeddyurappa-led Karnataka Janata Paksha with BJP as the two parties took steps to formalise their union.

After the Karnataka BJP core committee met, state party chief Prahlad Joshi said, "There is absolute consensus (about the entry of Yeddyurappa). There is no problem.

Unanimously the state unit has decided that we have to fight (Lok Sabha) election together."

The merger moves had gathered steam in recent weeks, with Yeddyurappa giving clear indications that it was only a matter of time before his return to BJP whose state leaders also got the green signal from the party top brass.

"KJP should merge with BJP, so that unitedly we can fight, because of the division of anti-Congress vote in last Assembly elections both of us have suffered, we don't want to repeat it again," Joshi added.

KJP had garnered six seats and 10 per cent vote share in the May 8 Assembly polls playing spoiler to the then ruling BJP, which lost its first ever government in the South. KJP had failed to make a big impact as an independent force.

Noting that state unit was unanimous on induction of Yeddyurappa, Joshi said, "He has already declared that he is ready to join BJP, which state unit has whole heartedly welcomed."

To a question whether Yeddyurappa will be given any formal invitation, he said, "He has already declared that he is joining BJP, we are formally meeting (him) that's all."

On criticism by Congress and other opponents on re-induction of Yeddyurappa, Joshi said "... when allegations were made against him (Yeddyurappa) through some agency, then president of BJP and our central unit took a decision that when there are serious charges, he should not remain in position."

But, he said, the party never took a stand that he should not remain in the BJP.

To a question on delay despite unanimity on Yeddyurappa's induction, Joshi said, "Our central unit was supposed to clear all these things; yesterday it told us to formally meet and discuss his (Yeddyurappa's) re-entry into the party and merger of KJP and BJP.

"As soon as we got the clearance from the central unit, we are moving ahead."

One of the shameless person Karnataka ever had. For power Yeddy will do anything. He left BJP and spoke so bad about BJP and its members. Now see all these Enemies like Ananthkumar and Eshwarappa has become friends. This is only till the Loksabha elections are over. BJP is thinking by taking Yeddy the corrupt person back in BJP they will get Votes. This will never happen in Karnataka. Once the Loksabha elections are over Yeddy will be kicked out if BJP loses Karnataka specially. The BJP to come to power in Karnataka Yeddy was responsible and even to loose Karnataka.

Our fore fathers laid down their lives to free our country from the clutches of the British rule. But what is the use? Are we really independent today? All right thinking Indians will agree that we are not. We are at the mercy of these rogues who have joined the BJP and the Congress in the name of ruling the country. We do not need these self serving so called leaders. Kick them out.

I appeal to all the voters to please consign both the Congress and the BJP to the nearest dustbin. The place for these rogues is some gutter and not five star hotels where they conspire ways and means to loot the country. The people of this country should set aside their differences and irrespective of caste and creed should unite and take an oath never to vote for such corrupt people. Both these parties are corrupt to the bone and are only interested in feathering their own nest and the earlier we realise this and act, the better it would be for us and the future generations. Let us save this country of ours from these unscrupulous charlatans.

All these political parties are created by the politicians for the politicians now indirectly adding water and fertilizer to the AAP to make that grow taller in a hurry. If the politicians think that the electorate is watching all these political shows with high tolerance and patience, then the politicians are totally misled. Mahatma Gandhiji wanted to dissolve the Congress party after India got independence, but the politicians know that through keeping the "Congress", name, they have a greater advantage.

Why the BJP didn't bring the Reddy brothers also from jail wrapped up in garland, and landing in his former helicopter he used to fly to Bangalore for eating breakfast to display the great
    'V' sign? Indian politics, indeed
"by the people and for the people".

Its a sad day for the people of Karnataka.AAP is the only hope now.People of Karnataka will teach a good lesson to BJP,and its leaders like BSY,DVS,Eswarappa and others. Can BJP and BSY fight against corruption in Karanataka? No way, instead they will protect the corrupt politicians.Namo is scared of AAP! Wait and see the fun....cold war already started between BSY and Anath Kumar.Poor Dhananjaya Kumar is dumped by BSY and BJP. where are Renukacharya,Halappa and other followers of BSY?Prahlad Joshi will be replaced by BSY.Inspite of this drama,BJP will not get 10 seats in coming Loksabha Elections. Its a plus point for AAP. Congress will also face tough fight from AAP. Aravind Kejriwala is today's CM and tomorrow's PM!Now people can reject Congress and BJP and support AAP for a clean and non corrupt Governance in Karanataka and also in the Centre.Jai Ho AAP!!

Non corrupt AAP is gaining momentum and sad to see corrupt join hands in Karnataka. This is just vote bank politics. Karnataka CM inducted two corrupt into his ministry yesterday and Yediyurappa all set to join BJP. Hence there is no difference between BJP and Congress. These two so called national parties are like two sides of same coin. It's upto people to decide now. Hope people will show the door to corrupt and elect non corrupt. Jai ho AAP...
