Mangalore, May 7: An evening of entertainment with dance, music and theatre, Kala Utsav turned out to be a successful show. Youth Council Bejai presented this event on Saturday on Bejai School grounds.
District in-charge minister B Nagaraj Shetty graced the programme.
A drama ‘Pati Polenaka’ written by the late Mick Max and directed by Geo D’Silva Agrar stole the show.
Nach Soban Troup led by Avil displayed dances to foot tapping Konkani numbers, while to keep the crowd laughing were the humorous skits by Jerry, Joseph and party.
Melita Pinto of Bejai compered the event.
Youth Council president Lester D’Souza Fr J P Tauro and Fr Francis of Assisi were present on the stage.
