Mangalore, May 7: The 53 monthly theatre (Meinyali Manchi) was a bundle of surprises. Goan Ulhas Buyao and his troupe proved themselves as great Konkani entertainers. The evening brought on one stage various artists including child artiste Ritvik Buyao.



Singers Ulhas Buyao, Rajesh, Mamata, Siddarth and Priyanka offered Mangaloreans a pleasant shower of 14 songs centered on the theme of the show Moga Manglura.



Buyao’s troupe consisted of Janab Noor on trumpet and Irshad on Saxophone both well-known musicians from Belgaum, Sajid on drums, Siddarth on keyboards and Yasin and Praveen on Rhythm pad.



The event also witnessed the release of a religious music album of Eric Ozario ‘Bhakti Soban Vol 3. Ulhas Buyao released the album whose songs have been written by Melwyn Rodrigues and Fr Pratap Naik.

The manchi also remembered the late Thomas Castelino, Pirjent Kalaangann and Mick Max.
