Mangalore, Jan 4:
Sri Rama Sene and ABVP on Saturday January 4 demanded a thorough probe into the recent incident at Deralakatte wherein two students were kidnapped by a group and allegedly forced to have sex, videographed and blackmailed. The demands were made in separate press meets called by the two outfits.

Sri Rama Sene state organizing secretary Gangadhar Kulkarni, addressing a press meet here, said the accused who have been arrested in the case are also accused in various other criminal cases. "It is also suspected that the accused are members of Indian Mujahideen or other terror groups and the money thus collected through the blackmail was being used for terror activities," he alleged.

"The government must take this issue seriously and the investigation must be handed over to the central Anti-Terror Squad to carry out further investigation with regard to the involvement of the accused with any terror groups.

"Brain mapping and various other modern techniques must be used to get the truth out, and failure in fulfilling these demands will results in a massive protest out in the coming days," he warned.

Prasad Attavar removed from Sri Rama Sene

"Prasad Attavar who was the state convener of Sri Rama Sene has been removed from the organization, and he will not be recognized under the SRS banner anymore. This decision was taken in the regional meeting that took place in Hubli on December 14 and 15," he said.

"He walked out with the intention of starting a new Hindu organization. We will always support any number or forms of Hindu organizations in society. Hence we convey our best wished to Prasad Attavar," he said.

'Bangladeshi Hatao, Bharath Bachao' campaign

"The number of Bangaladesh intruders is increasing in our country at an alarming rate. We have collected sufficient evidence in this matter, and we will launch a 'Bangladeshi Hatao, Bharath Bachao' campaign at the earliest in this regard," said

"As per the information we collected, there are approximately three lac Bangladeshi intruders in our state itself. We have collected information and created a video clipping and photo gallery to prove this and the same will be handed over to the CM in the first week of February. A 15-day deadline will be given to the government to implement action, failing which a special campaign 'Bangladeshi Hatao Bharath Bachao' will be launched," he said.

Durga Sena regional training camp

A Durga Sena regional training camp will be held in Davangere on January 19. Members all over the state will participate in this one-day training session. Various religious leaders will also address the participants along with a special address by Himanithayi Savarkar, daughter-in-law of Veer Savarkar, he informed.

Mahesh Koppa, Kumar Malemar, Jeevan Neermarga, Ganesh Attavar and others were present.

ABVP press meet

In another press meet, ABVP state secretary Ramesh K too demanded a detailed and unbiased probe into the Deralakatte incident and said, "The accused in the Deralakatte incident seem to have been influenced by some political party. They also assaulted the policemen who arrested them. Even after all this, the police have failed to display the criminals' photographs anywhere. Considering all these aspects, the government must take further action against the accused."

He further added, "These accused have even tried to mislead and complicate the issue on communal lines by claiming themselves to be Subhash Padil, Munna and others who were accused in the Padil home stay attack case. By this act, it is clear that there was a bigger agenda behind their act. The authorities must also look into this matter and carry out a detailed investigation in the regard," he said.

He also alleged that the district is slowly becoming a hub for terror activities. "Love Jihad, kidnapping, extortion etc are on the rise in the coastal belt and it is suspected to be an act of some groups with the collaboration of terrorist organizations," he claimed.

"There are many aspects of this case which prove that a thorough investigation has not been carried out. Thus the government must hand over the case to a higher investigating authority," he urged.

"We have set certain demands before the government like the accused should be booked with rape case and under Goonda Act, the investigation should be carried out under the jurisdiction of the high court, medical examination of the victim student should be done, law and order in the district must be restored, investigation into the possible connection of the accused with terror groups and so on. If the government fails to fulfill these demands, a massive protest will be held in front of the police commisioner's office on January 8," he said.

"ABVP also extends its full support to the protest organized by the Mahila Jana Jagrithi Vedike on Jaunary 9," he said.

Leaders Chethan Padil, Yathish Kumar, Anushka Kottary, Rakhitha and others were present.

The magnitude of crime committed in pub attack and Padil home stay attack is nothing compared to incident in Deralakatte. Yet the reaction from so called secular media and pseudo-seculars is exactly opposite.

Gangadhar Kulkarni seems to know more about this incident and the history of the accused more than the police. Hence police should take him to custody first and should take all the information that he has about the accused, their IM links and funding of terrorism etc. They also have credible information about Bangladeshi intruders. So why not use them to nab these intruders? Scumbags! They do not know what is happening in their own houses. But have information about everything else under the sun. Their parents are struggling to make both ends meet while sisters are not able to complete their education. And these goons are busy collecting information about intruders! Look at your own sisters who have not yet been married off because their brothers are busy collecting ‘hafta’ rather earning money by right ways. Let the police and the authorities take action against those who are already caught. The authorities do not require advice on how to conduct investigation and how to nab culprits. If you have solid and credible information about terrorists, their modus operandi, intruders, then pass on the information to the police instead of calling and announcing in the press meet. If you are really concerned about Mangalore, mobilise people, youth, students against proposed thermal plant at Niddodi, MSEZ, industries that are polluting Mangalore. Instead of catching hold of cattle lifters, place your informants in the govt offices and catch hold of bribe-taking babus. Rogues! You were the ones who sowed these seeds of venom among Mangaloreans and divided DK on the basis of religion, caste and creed and now all of a sudden you become living saints!

Forced Sex case in Deralakatte is a crime which needs to condenmed. It looks like unseen hands are hectically trying to hush up the case, by making it as a petty offence. As per a news in one of kannada daily, the girl has terminated her education & has been back to her place in north India after this humiliation. Our Pseudos where speaking in loud voice during home-stay attack, but now speak in a low voice. Outside Female Students may feel unsafe if this case is not handled properly, & our Ministers should keep aside the vote bank politics & strictly deal with the case.
