Kundapur, May 8: One person was killed and 9 others sustained serious injuries when a cement laden lorry rammed against Tata Sumo vehicle on Sunday May 7 night at Nelamangala near Bangalore.

The deceased has been identified as Afisa, a resident of Gangolli.  She was on her way to Bangalore with her family members on a Tata Sumo vehicle when the accident took place.

The family of one Sadik from Gangolli was going to Bangalore for the engagement of one of their relatives.  Out of the 9 persons injured. 5 are in a critical condition fighting for life while four others have been admitted as out patients.

Afisa was a student of S V Junior College, Gangolli.  A total of 9 persons were travelling on Tata Sumo vehicle.
