Kundapur, May 9: In the road mishap which took place when a cement laden lorry rammed against Tata Sumo vehicle on Sunday May 7 night at Nelamangala near Bangalore resulted in the death of one student.

The 17-year-old has been identified as Apeefa Sheikji a brilliant student from Gangolli here. She is the daughter of Abdul Hameed Sheikji, an entrepreneur from Gangolli and Zaheera Zabeena. Apeefa died on the spot while the other 12 sustained injuries. She was a student of S V Junior College, Gangolli. 

Bagali Abu Mohammed (54) Gangolli, H Abdul Majeed (61), Madikal Mohammed Sadiq (45), Beebi Safia (50), Beebi Ayisha (45), Zaheera Banu (42), Khurshid Banu (40), Sana Soobia (15), Rafia (14), Adnan (14), Adil (10) and driver Shakir (26) were the injured.

The family was going to Bangalore for the engagement of one of their relatives.
