Udupi, May 10: B K Singh, who has been appointed new superintendent of police of the district, will assume power on Wednesday May 10.

B K Singh has been appointed SP in place of S Murugan who has been transferred.  Murugan was the superintendent of police of the district for the last couple of years.  B K Singh who was the Deputy Commissioner of Police (East) handed over charge on Monday May 8.
