Mangalore, May 9: Max New York Life, a leading life insurance company, opened its branch in the city on Monday May 8 in Trinity Complex, N G road here.
The company now has 60 offices in 39 cities across India. The new branch is the third in the state, said company direct sales executive director Rajesh Sud while speaking to reporters here.
The company plans to strengthen its ties with Karnataka by reaching out to more people. Currently, it has over 15,000 agent advisors, more than 2,600 employees and 22 different products. It has sold 9.3 lac policies and aims to open 36 more centres in the country by the end of the present financial year.
Among those present were zonal president Sushanto Mukherjee and the company's Mangalore centre partner in-charge Amit Vakil.
