Nowadays its common that the person belongs to some political party will be ed as president of the masjid.Quite Disgusting that we forget the golden principles of Islam which teaches us person who have the knowledge of deen and Taqwa(Fear of allah)should be given the higher post.It may be the presidentship of masjid or any other association or Board.Don't mix up politics with religion or bring politics inside the masjid or any other praying place.

Congratulations to Rasheed Haji. A God fearing, honest and well known social worker. Good to know that he is not a politician. The right choice for the right post. The top level corrupt ministry of wakf now needs to be cleaned. By appointing a person like Rasheed Haji in the district level may help bringing some confidence on wakf to our
Community people. Honest and sincere people are always welcome to our district. Keep the illiterate and selfish politicians out of our dear district. May Almighty bless you Rasheed Haji.

Is he the same Ashraf whose son was caught with drugs some time back??? Ivan D'Souza will persuade Ashraf to reconsider his resignation and he will take back his resignation. Everybody knows about this resignation drama. Why he didn't resign when his son was caught with drugs???Congrats Haji saab. Politicians need to understand that political affiliations is not a criteria for any posts. It is the capability of the person makes him chairman.

Think he has made some strong points...
1.Working like an Ass and having a Rough time at it he wanted at least something in return, like his man for the post in the Wafk advisory committee.
2.The tough talking Poojaryji is also in the forefront of getting a LokSabha MP ticket from M'lore!
Sri.Ashraf also has no love lost
for Poojaryji and the feeling's mutual.According to Ashrafji-'Poojary has no eyes for those who have their Ass Rough on account of working for the party....
So he is trying to kill two birds with one stone by his resignation.
Think this is a correct 'political analysis'.

    Ramesh
Ivan will not get an MP seat or he will not resign. Simple logic, he will not have the same influence if he resigns.
Jannanna will not be welcome in AAP because AAP has many very efficient, clean leaders in Mangalore. Jannanna is a power hungry person.
