Mangalore, Jan 8: "By taking over the management of some of the temples, the government is discriminating against the Hindus. All the temples and Maths managed by the government must be relieved from its control. If the government does not stop taking over the temples, we will protest strongly not only in Karnataka but throughout the country. We will not tolerate any interference of secular government in our religious matters," said Pravin Togadia, president of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) during a press meet on Wednesday, January 8 at Sanghaniketan hall here.

Criticizing the proposed Anti-Supersition Bill, he said, "Through Anti-Superstition Bill, the government is targeting Hindus. It does not have the courage to target the Muslims and the Christians.

"It may right for BJP to fight Congress or Congress to fight BJP. But, if Congress fights against the Hindus in the name of BJP, there will be backlash. The Congress has wiped out many Hindus in Uttar Pradesh, and is not taking any responsibility. I advise Congress leadership to not be ant-Hindu. What Congress is doing in Karnataka is anti-Hindu. It is thus inviting strong political backlash that will cost Congress heavily. The central and state Congress must rethink their government's behavior against Hindus, and if they do not, we are here to protect and lead Hindus and defeat all anti-Hindu forces in a democratic way. Congress should not take Hindus for granted and not persecute Hindus politically."

Reiterating his demand for barring evangelist Benny Hinn from visiting Bangalore, he said, "Benny Hinn's visit to state should not be permitted. He must be banned from stepping into our country. Congress is bringing him to convert our Hindus."

He further said, "Vishwa Hindu Parishad will be completing 50 years during next Janmashtami and we are planning to extend educational help and give job opportunities to Hindus. We expect our men to support this cause. Vishwa Hindu Parishad requires respect, standard, support and much more as the prime minister gets. Last year more than 95 lac Muslim and Christian youths got job opportunities from the government. All these opportunities must be given to the Hindus."

"Congress government must stop slaughtering of cows and also stop conversion of Hindus to other religions," he added.

Commenting on the recent Deralakatte forced sex incident, he said that the Congress government has 'not imposed any section on the criminals as it is protecting the Muslims' .

Jagadish Shenava, district working president, VHP, Bajrang Dal leader, Sharan Pumpwell, T A P Shenoy, Pranth, secretary, VHP and others were also present.

Udupi: Govt should not permit Benny Hinn's visit to state - Pravin Togadia

Daijiworld Media Network – Udupi (EP)

Udupi, Jan 8: Vishwa Hindu Parishat (VHP) president Pravin Togadia on Wednesday January 8 said that the government should not permit evangelist Benny Hinn to enter the state. Alleging that Benny Hinn was coming to the state for conversion, he said it was against the Constitution.

Togadia who spoke to the media after meeting Sri Vishweshatirtha Swamiji for about twenty minutes at Pejawar Math, said that the VHP was opposed to the arrival of Benny Hinn under the democratic setup and urged the government to ban his entry.

Togadia said that as per the inquiry commissions set up by different state and central governments, Muslims were responsible for incidents of violence in Muzaffarnagar, Godhra and other parts of the country.

Pejawar Swamiji who spoke on the occasion said, "Benny Hinn is coming to spread superstition.  While the government on one hand is trying to ban superstition, it is welcoming Benny Hinn. There is no meaning to his arrival."

During their meeting, Pejawar Swamiji and Togadia discussed various issues related to cow slaughter, setting up of 'go shala' in the district and the need to create awareness on the issue. Pejawar Swamiji is also understood to have asked Togadia whether Aam Aadmi Party has adversely impacted BJP, to which Togadia reportedly replied in the negative.

Togadia is in the district to attend a programme. He will later visit Mangalore and address a press meet.

Come on praveen tagodia, you need Education. Don't embarrass yourself with nonsense talk. Those students worked hard, crossed several hurdles to earn the jobs. They deserve that. India belongs to Indians, not Hindus. And we all Indians should work in tandem to see India reaching heights. Instead of encouraging the youth brigade, you're always with the negative vibes and provoking communal hatred. Sometimes, try to inspire young guns with your thoughts and the acts. Seriously, India suffers because of these nuisances. Educate yourself, tagodia!!

With due respect to all my Hindu brethren, do you believe what Mr Togadia said that 95 lac jobs were given last year by govt to Christians and Muslims ?

I have never come across any advertisement of jobs in govt only for Christians and Muslims, however, jobs for SC/ST are advertised. He says those 95 lac jobs should be given to Hindus. Hindus are equally qualified and nowhere govt says Hindus should not apply. If one were to go by logic, if so many jobs were given to Christians and Muslims, total jobs created by govt should be 10 crores as per equal distribution.

In the same tongue, same man had earlier said that present govt has not created any job opportunities.

These morons believe that they can actually change people’s perception of god and/or religion, that too through political means. Free entertainment - - thats what this is.
These morons truly do not understand God, religion, faith.

“Through Anti-Superstition Bill, the government is targeting Hindus.” - - now, that itself is a form of superstition.

“Congress government must stop slaughtering of cows and also stop the conversion of Hindus to other religions” - - why should the government stop conversion of anyone from any religion to any other religion? Is that not one’s choice? If a religion does not suit one’s need for showing a path to GOD, then let that person join another one.

    WHAT IS NECROMANCY?

Necromancy is calling up the dead or talking to them to get the information they have access to. Christianity has always taught that necromancy is a sin and an act of black magic.
Some rituals for necromancy are full of devotion to God. But they are still necromancy. The Church condemns the rituals. Necromancy is necromancy whether done in the name of God and love or not.o

CALLING THE SPIRITS OF THE DEAD
IS A GSME AND PAST TIME IN MOST OF THE SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES ITS CALLED OOJA BOARD...
WHERE ALL SIT IN A CIRCLE HOLD HANDS AND CALL FOR A SPIRIT OF A RELATIVE OR FRIEND.
IT IS NOT CERTAIN WHOSE SPIRIT COMES IN THE GUISE OF THE NAMED...
    THEN QUESTIONS ARE ASKED...
    WILL I PASS ?
Will this question come for the exam ?
Does that boy love me ?
The spirit answers either by a coin moving or a 3 legged stool tapping one for yes two for no.
There are instances where the spirit refuses to leave and finds abode in one of them ...
    .......THEN ?
As explained to me by my wife who played this game in college!

    Dear PNA, Kudla,
I don't know what you say about Benny Hinn is true because I haven't read about him. But the fact is, communicating with the dead which is part of occultism is against the teachings of the Holy Bible. It is not the dead person actually, but Satan, who takes the form of the dead person. Again the Bible says in the Book of Ecclesiastes that the dead are conscious of nothing, all thoughts and actions perish with death. A dead body is just like a lifeless stone. The dead can come back to life only through the resurrection. As you say, Benny Hinn has acquired illusionary miraculous powers which are satanic.

This type of people have been termed as “workers of lawlessness” and are condemned of God. Such practices are prevalent in Latin America where people still believe in superstition. There is no such act as an ointment in the course of acquiring genuine miraculous powers. God’s power is gifted to His chosen believer through faith, prayer and fasting.

    Stepin Menazes,
Benny Hinn visits Kathryn Kuhlman's and Aimee McPherson's graves for the "anointing", and other wacky things. "The secret to Hinn's power is his peculiar anointing, which he connects with Kathryn Kuhlman and Aimee McPherson, founder of the Foursquare Gospel Church. He first felt the "full power of the Holy Spirit" on him at a Kuhlman healing service in 1973 and her mantle has presumably fallen upon Hinn. He conducts his meetings almost exactly like hers, though it takes Hinn much longer to get his audience into the expectant mood that seems to generate psychosomatic "miracles." In an APRIL 1991 sermon, Hinn revealed that he periodically visits Kuhlman's grave and that he is one of the few with a key to gain access to it. He also visits Aimee's grave, where he says: "I felt a terrific anointing ... I was shaking all over ... trembling under the power of God ... `Dear God,' I said, `I feel the anointing.' ... I believe the anointing has lingered over Aimee's body." There is a vdo too if you want to see. Googles .
Steve I will not lie at any cost.

The former is a fake healer and the latter is a fake yeller.

In 2004 when Benny Hinn came and had sessions in Bandra Kurla Complex, many were said to have been cured. The truth is, some of them were cured by physician's medicine, some are still sick and the rest have died by the passage of time.

Fail to understand why the Hindu religious groups hate and objecting Benny Hinn when the constitution has given the fundamental right to profess the religion of one's choice.Hope the haters introspect this and change the opinion.Thanq.

Moral of the story- Doctors should not come into the influence of RSS. Otherwise, they become Dr.Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat or Dr Praveen Togadia.

Mr. Togadia, for your kind info this time visit of Benny Hinn is only meant for Christians and not for any other religions. The current prayer meets is organized with an entry only by prior registration and a payment of Rs. 850/= and Benny Hinn will only be a guest speaker at that prayer meet.
Mr. Togadia, since it is not open to all programme, why are you worried about your Hindu brothers. Let them not attend this. No one is forcing them to attend. Please Note, this is meant for only Christians. As our constitution says every citizen has his right and liberty to follow and practice his own religion. Mr. Togadia, if you are still worried and confused, let me tell you something. You yourself, please attend the prayer meeting and see the developments. See that no Hindus are present there. Praise the Lord.

Thogadia Sahib, why are you afraid of conversion.. ? Just show any one converted to Christianity by force.. Just see in USA, UK, Canada and many other foreign countries, many Christians are converted to Hinduism as well as to some other religions, but they are (those countries) not crying like you.. Also, you too are not commenting anything on that.. Is it not hypocrisy from your part.. ?

    Priscilla Bai,
The majority want Benny Hinn banned not for in whose name he preaches or in whose name he has come.
They want him banned for the crook he is,who swindles gullible people by twisting the word down their throat, doing demonic things on stage, faking miracle cures, dabbling with the Occult and making money doling out false promises in the name of God.
    Superstition ,fraud, & demonic activity
If you want be part go ahead, join the occultism .
When you claim only - can save you your are inducing fright, leading to conversion.

Looks as if this Benny Hinn phobia is gripping the entire nation. I don’t understand why these political and religious stalwarts seem to be scared of Benny Hinn. There were no voices heard from Togadia and the like when gurus, babas, sants and sadhus of his own country were involved in crimes ranging from land grabbing to rape. Now what the problem do they have with Benny Hinn as long as no charges are filed against him?

I fail to understand all this furor on the visit of Benny Hinn a Christian preacher. Please note he is only a preacher and not a converter. No one can convert to Christianity only on the basis of preaching. The person wanting to be Christian should be fully convinced in his faith and belief and should be in communion with the Christian teaching. This being the case why people are feeling threatened. If your faith is strong and you stand staunchly in your belief, there should not be any problem with anyone coming and preaching. If he is able to cure, it is not through his power, for a person gets cured only through his faith, belief and wanting to be healed by the power of God.

Benny Hinn is only a instrument. If he was able to heal on his own powers, he would have healed thousands who came to hear him. Well, at least he is not coming and preaching to spread antagonism, but give a message of love, peace and understanding. Whatever religion you belong to, be steadfast in its tenets then you will not feel threatened. These people who are afraid, have half baked knowledge of their own religion or holy books and are guided by the instigations of others that their religion is threatened. Religion is not god but only a means of attaining the presence of God.

HERE IS THE TRUTH..... FROM THE MOUTH OF HINN HIMSELF ........He is in the occult . And falling down is demonic and un biblical.
Benny Hinn proudly admits that he "prays at the grave of Kathren Kullman, (an alleged faith healer) for her healing powers to flow into him".

The Bible Condemns this practice of Benny Hinn as Necromancy and Satanic. For all we know, Hinn encounters a Demom from Hell who poses as the deceased, Kullman.
Despite Benny Hinn admitting to Practicing Necromancy, "Christians" continue to send Hinn $ millions in donations. (He was even banned from U.K.) google and his books.
MANY WILL COME IN MY NAME !

Instead of blaming others, Poojya Swamiji and Sriman Togadia Bhaiji should try to remove the cast system within Hindus. There should be equality among all. Once it is done people will attract to this oldest religion.

In Democratic world, all have freedom.
    1. Indians go abroad to preach and profess their religion, Bhagwat Geeta Yoga, Vaastu Astrology etc. to the believers. Whoever believes in these have a positive impact.
They have every right to do so.
    They have followers from abroad.
    2. Same way, from overseas, people come here to preach and practice miracle healing.
It has a positive impact of peace and cure believers!
