Mangalore: Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat gets death threat from underworld

Mangalore, Jan 10: RSS leader Dr Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat is said to have received a death threat by a person in the name of an underworld don based in Dubai. The call was made to a reporter of a private news channel, sources said.

The call, said to be from Dubai, was answered by the reporter, who informed the police about it.

The caller threatened to shoot down Dr Prabhakar Bhat if the police fail to arrest him for his alleged provocative speech at the recent Bruhath Hindu Sangama at Gurpur, sources said. The call was made in the name of underworld don Asgar Ali is presently based in Dubai, it is learnt.

Police said that the reporter of the private channel who answered the call has provided all the information and that further investigations are on.

    " You reap what you sow" is a good saying..!! It is better to live in peace and harmony than try to spread hatred among people. There are thousands of Political Leaders who are powerful, why don't they get a threat call like this?
    Time is the best healer of things, so let us wait for time and destiny to decide on this issue.
    Police Force will investigate and do their best, wasting police force on these matters is a National waste I think.
    But am hopeful that nothing like this happens, to keep the peace around the place.!!
