 One person was injured when a car plunged into a field after the driver lost control over the vehicle on National Highway 17 at Kulur on Wednesday May 10.


In another road accident, one person sustained minor injuries when a tanker rammed into an auto rickshaw in front of the Raghavendra Ice Plant at Suratkal on Wednesday May 10 morning.



"Kinara", a fishing boat owned by one Rashid Ullal of Kasaba-Bengre was damaged after being grounded in shallow waters at the port here on Tuesday May 9.  The total loss has been estimated at Rs 1.5 lac.
