Mangalore, May 11: 'Nudi Singara' a research work authored by Dr Ganesh Amin Sankamar will be released at 5 pm on Sunday May 14 at Ravindra Kalabhavan here. The book has been published by Siri Prakashana of Pavanje Manjana Folk Research Centre.

Speaking to reporters here on Wednesday May 10, Dr Ganesh informed that the book will be released by Dr B A Vivek Rai, vice-chancellor, Hampi Kannada University, who was also the guide for the research work.

The book is a documentary of the cultural practices of the region like Daivaradhane and Bhootaradhane and includes history of about 30 daivas of Tulunadu.

Mumbai Billava Jagruti Balaga president Sooru C Karkera, Alva's Education Foundation chairman Dr M Mohan Alva, MLA Abayachandra Jain, former MP Vinay Sorake, St Aloysius College principal Fr Swebert D'Silva and theatre artiste Na Damodar Shetty are expected to be present on the occasion.
