Mangalore, May 12: A M Hasan (52), an employee with New Mangalore Port Trust here was killed in road accident at Panambur on National Highway 17 here.

A M Hasan was going to Panambur from Kulur on his mobike when a private bus knocked him down after hitting his mobike from behind.  As a result he fell on the road and sustained serious injuries in his head.

He was immediately admitted to a private hospital in the city for treatment.  But he succumbed to injuries later in the hospital.

The Panambur police have booked a case against the bus driver in this regard.
