Mangalore, May 14: The central Sahitya Akademi and Raknno Konkani weekly will join hands to organize a Konkani poets' meet called 'Kavisandhi' in the Bishop's House hall at 9-30 am on Sunday, May 14.
Pobre Fernandes, an eminent poet from Goa, will recite and sing a variety of poems.
It will be followed by a 'Kavigosti' in which some well-known poets and poetesses from the undivided Dakshina Kannada district, like Dr Mohan Pai, Indira Jodumatt, Maurice D'Sa, Titus Noronha, Wilfred Lobo Padil, Lloyd Rego Taccode, Wilson Kateel, Avina Miyar and Kalarani Kulshekar will recite their poems.
All Konkani-loving literary enthusiasts are welcome to attend the meet, says the press release.
