Mulki, May 14: By keeping selfish motives at bay the Tuluvas must endevour to develop Tulu language and literature, said district in-charge minister B Nagaraj Shetty.
He was speaking at the Tulu Sahitya Academy award presentation ceremony held at Bappanadu Jnana Mandir on Saturday, May 13.

The Tulu Sahitya Samshodana Award was given to Paltady Ramakrishna Achar, Tulu Play Film Award to V J Pal and Tulu Janapada Award to Aithappa Pambada.

Hampi Kannada University vice-chancellor B A Vivek Rai was the chief guest on the occasion. Mangalore university vice-chancellor K M Kaveriappa, Academy president M K Seetharam Kulal and Mulki-Moodbidri MLA K Abhayachandra Jain were also present on the occasion.
