UAE leaders condole Syedna's death


Abu Dhabi, Jan 18 (IANS/WAM): President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has sent a cable of condolence to Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin following the death Friday of his father, Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin, who was the spiritual head of the Dawoodi Bohra community.

Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin died in Mumbai Friday, aged 102.

Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, crown prince of Abu Dhabi and deputy supreme commander of the UAE Armed Forces, have also dispatched similar cables of condolences to Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin.
