Rio de Janeiro, Jan 21 (IANS): Italian Serie A side AC Milan are considering a bid for highly rated Brazilian defender Rafael Toloi.
The 23-year-old impressed Rossoneri coach Clarence Seedorf with his performances for Sao Paulo in the Campeonato Brasileiro last season, reports Xinhua.
According to Brazilian football news website Sambafoot, AC Milan are likely to wait until the summer transfer window to make an offer for the center-back.
Seedorf sees Toloi as a replacement for Argentine Matias Silvestre, whose loan spell from Inter Milan expires at the end of the season, the site said.
Toloi made 15 league appearances for Sao Paulo last year after joining from Brazilian rivals Goias in July 2012. He represented Brazil nine times at under-20 level.
