The accused open fired at Kushalappa, brother of Madikeri MLA Appachu Ranjan, when he arrived at the sub-registrar office in Virajpet on January 9 around 4 pm. Mr. Haris, please note Coorgis are born warriors, & not rowdies. They have been serving in the Military than Police department. Some people like General Kariappa & General Thimmayya are legends from this soil, & most of them serve the nation. Here just by presumption, if culprits attack & you justify their presumption, naturally people with same thinking may attract the wrath of Coorgies(just as you said Tit for Tat). The presumption should be supported by a clinching evidence & not by mere guessing.

Mr.Haris, please read the news carefully. The culprits had presumed that Kushalappas hand behind the murder, & in such a occasion any one can make any presumption. Instead, they could have filed a Police complaint or could have gone to court. Incident as shootouts does not justify ones own presumption. Definitely, I feel law may not honor these culprits arguments.

    Mr.Mohandas,

Again, I condemn both attacks. No one has the rights to hurt anybody. And culprits should get capital punishment.

But,People should stop provoked,Spreading hatred against other communities. This incident or many other incidents which happened before in Mangalore Udupi districts.

In Mangalore and Udupi i am sure more than 75% Hindus are secular.
But remaining communal spoiled(Spoiling) or communal harmony.

Many this incident occurred, many here were complaining that the incident was fake & done with intention of publicity. Now, with this arrest of culprits, public can know the truth of the incident. Of course, this came as a consequence of widespread protest & bundh in Kodagu District. May be, the State government had felt the threat & feared about consequences in coming LS elections, & have acted faster.

The culprits whoever they are and belonging to any community should be punished under the law so that such crimes should not occur in future. There should not be any communal or political gimmick. Punish every one who commits crime. That is all. No hate arguments and no hate comments. Apply the law and punish every one who commits crime. Unfortunately, in our country, the common people are paying the price for the political game played by our so called leaders. Wake up men, become an intelligent and proud citizens of our country.

Criminals are arrested good job and quick job by Police.
Some arrests are quick and some are very slow, difficult to understand the rationale.
Murder of Dr. Narendra Dabholkar, anti superstition activist from Pune, who was shot on Aug, 2013. Culprits are still not nabbed.
