Indian boy in UAE commended for returning wallet


Dubai, Jan 25 (IANS): A student of an Indian school in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has been commended for returning a wallet he found on the street.

Amrit Adarshi, a grade four student of Delhi Private School (DPS) in Sharjah, found the wallet on a street near the Al Nahda area in Dubai and returned it to the police station in Al Qusais.

He was presented with a certificate for his honesty and social concern, the Gulf News reported Friday.

Khamis Matter Al Mazeina, chief of Dubai police, presented the certificate and a gift to the boy.

The wallet reportedly contained money, personal documents, an ID Card and
bank cards.
