Kundapur, May 17: Mathias D'Souza (33) who had sustained serious injuries in an accident died in the Ajjarkad Hospital at Udupi on Monday May 15.

Mathias, a resident of Koni near here was a rickshaw driver by profession.  He had recently been knocked down by a speeding private bus near Moodlakatte Railway Station near Byndoor here recently.  As a result, he had sustained serious injuries and was admitted to hospital.

However, he succumbed to the injuries on Monday.  The Kundapur police are investigating the case.
