Moodbidri, May 23: A truck laden with stones collided with an earthmover at Alangar near here on Tuesday May 23 morning resulting in a road block for long.
The accident took place just in front of one Nevil D'Souza's house. After the accident both the vehicles turned turtle on the road blocking the highway.
Moodbidri police led by inspector Umapathi rushed to the place and cleared the road for traffic immediately.
In the meantime, the drivers of both the vehicles had fled the place. However, the police called up the vehicle owners based on their number written on the vehicles. While JCB owner was from Hassan, the truck owner was from Bajagoli, said police sources.
