Brazil rise to ninth in FIFA rankings


Rio de Janeiro, Feb 14 (IANS): Brazil rose one spot to the ninth in FIFA'S February rankings.

Switzerland gained the most ground in the top 10, rising two places to sixth while Portugal rose one spot to fourth, reports Xinhua.

England had the steepest fall in the top 20, slipping two places to 15th.

The sharpest mover was Armenia, which jumped eight places to 30th, while Denmark climbed four spots to the 20th spot.

Spain remain the world's top-ranked team ahead of Germany, Argentina, Portugal and Colombia.
