M'lore: Branch falls on roof of house, loss estimated at Rs 4 lac

Mangalore, Feb 18: A house located in Gujjarkere near Jeppu was damaged by a branch of a fig tree which fell n its roof.

This incident occurred at around 4:30 am on Tuesday February 18.

The house belongs to Sudhakar Shetty, who is an auto driver. He has been residing in the house with his wife for the past 70 years.

The loss has been estimated at Rs 4 lac.

Sudhakar Shetty said that when the branch fell on the roof of the house, he and his wife were asleep. Miraculously, no one was injured.
