Sullia: Biker loses life in hit and run case

Sullia, Feb 19: A person moving in his motor bike lost his life on Tuesday February 18, after a truck hit his two-wheeler from behind. The victim was identified as Ashraf (38) from Kalladka in Delampady in the taluk.

The accident occurred at Bolubaill near here. Ashraf, who was a dealer in copra, was travelling in his motor bike to Sullia from Jalsoor, when tragedy struck. The killer vehicle remains unidentified, as it sped away after knocking Ashraf down.

Ashraf, who suffered grievous injuries, succumbed on the spot. He is survived by wife and two daughters. The local policemen have registered a case, and investigation is on.
