Abu Dhabi, Feb 19: BWF along with IIC  welcomed the Ambassador of India to UAE T P Seetharam on February 15 at IIC Main Hall Abu Dhabi.

The program began with National Anthem of UAE and India, and continued with Qira-ath by Mohammed sinan. Thechildren welcomed the guests with Muslim traditional songs, which it was pleasant experience.

Seetharam accorded a grand welcome by all the dignitaries and IIC president P Bava Haji; general secretary M P Mohammed Rasheed and many other guests present on the occasion.

M P Mohammed Rasheed invited the ambassador to the dais along with guests in his welcome speech Mohammed Rasheed said on behalf of the Indian Islamic Center a great pleasure to welcome T P Seetharam to Abu Dhabi Islamic Center in particular he welcomed other guests and organization executives to the dais.

Bava Haji welcomed  T P Seetharam by presenting a floral bouquet on behalf of Indian Islamic Center Abu Dhabi and wished him on behalf of IIC very successful and fruitful tenure and a pleasant stay in Abu Dhabi. Bava Haji briefed about IIC activities of social service.

Mohammed Ali Uchil president along with Abdulla Madumoole,general secretary and Mohamed Rafeeq Krishnapur, vice president-BWF, presented  a bouquet to the ambassador on behalf of Bearys Welfare Forum, Abu Dhabi. Seethram assured his full support in solving the problems of all NRI’s and particularly the Mangalore community which BWF represents.

Seetharam looking at the grand reception and atmosphere and wittingly said  that he was happy to serve in UAE and also that he is over whelmed by the welcome treat by IIC.

He said that he would extend his co operation always for any kind of service  that was expected from him and his team.

Prize medals were presented by the guest to the participants during the various Karate competitions by the IIC.  Abdul Rahman introduced the cultural programme continued after the vote of thanks delivered byShukkoor Ali Treasure IIC.
