Puttur, May 25: Santhosh Kumar Rai (25), a teacher in the Kaniyoor English Medium School here died of electrocution at Alekkadi here on Wednesday May 24.
Santhosh Kumar Rai was the PT teacher in the Kaniyoor English Medium School. On Wednesday he had gone to his elder brother's house at Alekkadi. There he was working in the poultry farm where he was electrocuted.
Seeing this, one of the house servants who was working with Santhosh informed a shopkeeper about this. By the time the shopkeeper came, Santhosh had fallen unconscious. Though he was immediately taken to the hospital, he breathed his last half the way.
Santhosh Kumar Rai has been survived by mother and two sisters.
The town police have registered a case in this regard.
