Udupi, Feb 20: In the National Level Pykka Rural Badminton tournament held at Bellary conducted by Sports Authority of India and Govt. of Karnataka from February 2- February 5, Glanish Pinto and Shamanth Rao won gold medals. Glancia Pinto secured bronze medal in Badminton and Vinyas Shetty won a silver medal in table tennis.
In the National Level Drawing Competition on the topic ‘Water Conservation’ Organized by Ministry of Water Resource New Delhi, Neha Harish has won third prize.
The winners were honored by Fr Fredric Mascarenhas, the correspondent of St Mary’s Educational Institutions during the inauguration of District Level Scout Rally in the campus of Mother of Sorrows Church at Udupi.
The winners were later taken in procession passing through K M Marg Udupi as a mark of honor. The chief officials of scouts and guides were also present on this occasion.
