Mangalore, May 26: "The state is planning to start an Information Technology (IT) Hub soon in order to provide information about the new schemes projects of various government departments to the common man as well as to the journalists," said information and publicity department commissioner KVR Tagore.
The IT Hub will be started at the Patrika Bhavan in Bangalore. He also said that IT Hub facility will gradually be extended to other parts of the state too. "It is not only that government will provide information but even the public and the reporters could give any special information they have to the IT Hub. This information however will be scrutinized by a committee of experts," he added.
