Mangalore, May 26: Satish Naik who was arrested by Anti Rowdy Squad for possession of an unlicensed revolver, was released on conditional bail on Wednesday May 25, by the jurisdictional court.

A strong aide of Rakesh Malli, Naik possessed the USA made revolver costing nearly Rs 2.5 lac, for which he was arrested by the Anti Rowdy Squad led by Vinay A Gaonkar, who had handed him to the Puttur Town police station.

A case was registered against him under the Arms Act.

However, reacting to the arrest of Satish Naik, Dakshin Kannada youth Congress president Bondala Jagannath Shetty said that the police have arrested Satish only in order to please the BJP.
