Mangalore, May 26: The new building constructed in memory of freedom fighter K K Shetty will be inaugurated here on Sunday May 28 at 4 pm, said Bhaskar Rai, member, Karnad Sadashiva Rao Memorial Trust while addressing a press conference here on Wednesday May 24
Korangrapadi Kantappa Shetty had served as MLC and Lok Sabha member from Mangalore.
The programme will be held at the Karnad Sadashiva Rao memorial hall at Light House Hill road here. The building has been constructed at a cost of Rs 30 lac and has 14 rooms. Income procured from this building will be used to assist the poor, said Trust president Pramod Shetty.
The inauguration will be done by former chief minister M Veerappa Moily and MLC Blasius D' Souza will preside. Former minister B A Moideen will inaugurate the statue of K K Shetty.
