Mangalore, May 26: At a trade meet held at Bangalore on Wednesday May 24 between the New Mangalore Port Trust (NMPT), Mangalore and Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust (JNPT), Mumbai, it was decided that the container service between the two ports would commence soon.
The Jawaharlal Nehru Port authorities have extended their full co-operation in this regard, and would provide window at shallow water berth. The JNP is connected to all the world ports.
It was decided to transport boxes using coastal movement from the New Mangalore Port.
